Our Story

Nestled in the hills of Mount Canobolas, we’d had our eye on this enchanting property for some time.

The packing shed had such stunning features but was in desperate need of some tender, loving care. As historical enthusiasts, this little gem had fallen into the right hands.

Toad Hall was built in 1921 as a packing shed for the surrounding apple and cherry farm. Horse and cart were used to transport the fruit from the packing shed all the way to the Sydney markets.

Jenny and Laurie

Breathing new life into Toad Hall was paying tribute to the pioneering days of what we know now as a major fruit growing industry in this district. Our deep, multi-generational appreciation of Australia’s farming history meant that this was the perfect passion project for us!
